DESCRIPTION:The European Commission’s Apply AI Summit will take place on 17 November 2026 in Brussels and online\, marking the first anniversary of the Apply AI Strategy and the closing of the first European AI Innovation Month. \n\n\n\nThe Summit will bring together around 900 stakeholders in Brussels\, with up to 3\,000 participants able to join online\, to explore how trustworthy\, human-centric and innovative AI can accelerate competitiveness and adoption across Europe’s strategic sectors. \n\n\n\nWhat to expect\n\n\n\nThe programme combines high-level discussions with practical examples of AI adoption\, including: \n\n\n\n\nGateway sessions exploring the Apply AI Strategy\n\n\n\nInsight Trail discussions looking at cross-sectoral challenges and sector-specific AI adoption\n\n\n\nHands-on exhibitions showcasing European AI innovation and real-world use cases\n\n\n\nStrategic panels on topics including Frontier AI and technological sovereignty\n\n\n\nThe first Apply AI Startup Awards\, recognising leading European AI start-ups\n\n\n\n\nThe virtual experience will take the form of an “Atlas of the European AI Continent”\, providing access to selected livestreamed sessions and opportunities to explore Europe’s AI innovation ecosystem. \n\n\n\nHealthcare in focus\n\n\n\nHealthcare is one of the strategic sectors featured in the Summit\, with a dedicated afternoon session on AI in the healthcare sector. \n\n\n\nThe programme will also highlight concrete European AI use cases and how homegrown AI technologies are already delivering real-world socioeconomic impact.
